The Directorate has contributed in the support of “I Deserve a Life” campaign launched by Friends of Cancer Patients Society for the eighth year in a row, within the Ramadan initiatives during this holy month.
HE Abdullah Salem Al Mashawi, Director of the Directorate of Human Resources, provided financial support to the Society’s delegation. The Directorate mobilised its employees to support the campaign to help treat cancer patients who are not able to afford the treatment in the country, namely surgeries, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, medicines and medical tests.
Al Mashawi praised the efforts of the Society in this important humanitarian act and its main role in supporting cancer patients and providing necessary healthcare for insolvent patients.
He confirmed that the Directorate is keen to activate the role of its employees in supporting humanitarian and charitable campaigns, in order to stimulate good deeds, support the needy and strengthen solidarity, cohesion and the spirit of social responsibility.
